There are two main goals I wish to achieve with this blog.
I want those that read this to be able to see how inexpensively and quickly a healthy tasty meal can be created. As a society, Americans have this tendency to need things immediately and quickly… we’re a busy culture, but the result doesn’t have to be fast food or eating out in restaurants every time we’re hungry and in a bind. It is possible to go home, with 15 or 20 minutes and prepare a great meal for you and whomever else might be there.
My other desire is to truly cook a cross-section of all cuisines. It’s easier to create certain styles of dishes like Italian or American food but some of the most flavorful food out there comes from other regions of the world. Asian, African, South American, the possibilities are endless.
I hope to start this journey by weeks end, here we go!
I’m starting this food blog, Food for Your Heart, to jump start my culinary repertoire all while sharing my recently gained knowledge with friends and onlookers that love food! The goal is to post twice a week, pictures included, of different dishes made. I will post a recipe, the steps, and show you how I created the dish as well as let you know how the final product comes out.
I feel that it’s important to have foods that are great tasting and yet won’t give you a heart attack. There’s no reason you have to lose flavor when you decrease the fat content.
Please feel free to leave comments, suggestions, or food you’d like to see prepared. So excited to start out on this journey, thank you to those who are supporting me! :)
Take care!
